This year’s “Campus Weeks” – sponsored by the German Embassy Washington – presents a series of events directed at undergraduates at US universities and colleges. This year’s topic “Shaping Germany” focuses on the internal factors that are contributing to what Germany will look like in 20, 30 or 50 years. Events include a lecture series with national and international presenters, a bi-weekly film series on the topic of migration, and a self-guided poster exhibit.
In this talk, Dr. Mary Beth Stein of George Washington University discusses the various espionage techniques employed by the foreign intelligence service of East Germany.
