The Goethe-Institut Chicago offers this practice-oriented advanced training seminar for German teachers on the subject of intercultural learning in the German classroom. Intercultural learning and intercultural communication means perceiving oneself and others, recognizing intercultural differences, knowing strategies for solving misunderstandings or even encountering stereotypes. This is how intercultural competence is formed: understanding people from other cultures, communicating with them in dialogue, as well as learning from and with each other.
Applications accepted until November 19, 2018.
