The New Paltz Band from Rheinland-Pfalz in Germany, brings the history of Pennsylvania German to life though song. Singing in dialect, they perform traditional Pfälzisch and Pennsylvania-German folk songs highlighting the important role that immigration has played and is still playing today in the United States and Germany.
The New Paltz Band is a featured musical act at the 70^th Annual Kutztown Folk Festival, the oldest continuously operated folklife festival in America, and the premier Pennsylvania German cultural event.
