The Big Pond US-German Listening Series #29: Dieter Kosslick’s Last Red Carpet Ride

In cooperation with American and German radio producers and broadcasters the Goethe-Institut USA produces roughly 50 radio features for a program titled The Big Pond. A US-German Listening Series. Features are being broadcasted nation-wide on a weekly basis. All are available for free download in podcast format.
In this episode: Dieter Kosslick is one of the film world’s best known festival directors. He’s put his stamp on the Berlin International Film Festival for the past 18 years – albeit the 69th edition of the festival in 2019 was his last. For The Big Pond, the The Kitchen Sisters talked to Dieter Kosslick and many of his companions and collaborators, resulting in a decades-spanning profile of his illustrious career.
