This year the German constitution – the Grundgesetz – celebrates its 70th anniversary. It is a milestone in German democracy and regarded as a unique anchor of democracy and the rule of law. In nowadays time with democracies in crisis and rising populism all over the world the Grundgesetz seems more vital than ever.
The Consulate General of Germany in New York invites you to a talk and open discussion with Prof. Christian Martin and Hadas Aron. The event is followed by a small reception and an open bar. Wine, beer and small snacks will be served.
