Leibniz Lecture with Prof. Dr. Daniel Frost

The Leibniz Lectures series specifically promotes research conducted by Leibniz Prize holders by providing a platform for the awardees to present their research to the scientific community as well as the broader public in North America. Established in 1985, the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize is the highest honor awarded in German research. Up to ten prizes are awarded annually with a maximum of EUR 2.5 million per award and a total of 354 researchers have received the award since the program began.

During the Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union, come listen to a Leibniz Lecture given by Prof. Dr. Daniel Frost, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Awardee 2016, Director of the Bayerisches Geoinstitut, and Professor of Experimental Geosciences at the University of Bayreuth.
