The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) together with the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation holds a conference for alumni taking a transatlantic perspective on the role of scholarship and science in our societies, contributing to the transatlantic dialogue which shapes DAAD’s policy. The conference welcomes more than 100 alumni participants from all fields and walks of life: those with longstanding research links to Germany, those with special expertise in fields linked to the conference theme, and also younger alumni who want to share their experience and thoughts on the subjects.
