Gallery Conversation: "Fritz Ascher: Expressionist"

The Nazi regime forbade the Jewish artist Fritz Ascher to paint, so he resorted to pen and paper. The Gray Art Gallery in cooperation with the Fritz Ascher Society shows pictures and poems by the expressionist persecuted by the National Socialists (1893-1970).
Come to a gallery conversation with J. English Cook, Graduate Curatorial Assistant, Grey Art Gallery, and Ph.D. Candidate, Institute of Fine Arts, NYU.
