During this Year of German-American Friendship, a DAI Heidelberg delegation is travelling to Silicon Valley to kick-off exchanges and discussions about civil society with local schools, institutions, and companies with the aim of facilitating new cooperation and strengthening existing relationships. Part of the program is a writing workshop for students in order to give new impetus to the DAI Heidelberg’s project HD Ink – Ideas on Paper, modeled after 826 Valencia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced students with their writing skills.
The DAI’s so-called Raumfänger (Space Catcher), a mobile venue made of transparent PVC film, was an integral part of this journey.
