Talk: STEM and Skills for Success

The German Hanns Seidel Foundation brings together Bavarian and American Holocaust experts, educators, and administrators to share perspectives on how their respective societies confront difficult histories, how future generations will engage in remembrance, and how the study of history is crucial in augmenting hard skills in preparation for an evolving workplace.
This event: A talk by Chris Paynter, Dean of the STEM Department at the Central Piedmont Community College, on how standards at community colleges do their best to appeal to the needs of students while providing them with critical core skills outside of the hard skills needed in the workforce.
