This 3-day interdisciplinary symposium organized in celebration of the Bauhaus’ centennial, highlights the tremendous global influence of one of the world’s most innovative art and design schools and movements. Perspectives will be shared via presentations, workshops, displays, and performances that illuminate the Bauhaus’ many connections to various disciplines, from art and architecture, theatre, music, dance, and mixed media, to the politics of the Weimar Republic and urbanism in the city of Chicago.
