In 2012, the Ministry set up an independent academic commission to investigate the Ministry’s handling of its Nazi past in the early years of the German Federal Republic. The findings tell a dark story of personnel continuity, laws being denazified only on a very superficial level and continuous discrimination against former victims. The exhibition wants to present the findings of the so called Rosenburg Files to a wider audience and raise awareness of the historical injustice that took place.
Join in the opening ceremony with opening remarks by Katarina Barley, Federal Minister of Justice for Germany. Reservations are required via the link provided.
