In 2012, the Ministry set up an independent academic commission to investigate the Ministry’s handling of its Nazi past in the early years of the Federal Republic. The findings tell a dark story of personnel continuity resulting in many laws being denazified only on a very superficial level and continuous discrimination against former victims. The purpose of this exhibition is to present the findings of the so called Rosenburg Files to a wide audience and raise awareness of the historical injustice that took place.
