Goethe Pop Up Seattle is partnering with Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery to bring you an intimate live performance by Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto – know as hackedepicciotto – both legends of Berlin’s post-punk scene.
US-born De Picciotto moved to West Berlin in the eighties to become lead singer of the band Space Cowboys, co-initiator of the Love Parade, and a collaborator of the Ocean Club. Hacke is a founding member and bass player of Einstürzende Neubauten, an experimental music group that helped pioneer industrial music. Specializing in unusual instruments, together they create beautiful, existentialistic, and acoustic soundscapes.
