The interactive and engaging panel discussion is designed to highlight the success of the St. Charles-Ludwigsburg sister cities program and the ways in which the program has adapted to changing social, financial, and environmental conditions. The program includes the longest, continuous sister cities high school exchange program in the United States. With education as a basis, the discussion touches on how the St. Charles-Ludwigsburg relationship has helped build social capital and community resilience through the cities’ shared heritage, common values, and mutual interests.
