Anthropocene @ re:publica

After HKW Berlin helped make the concept of the Anthropocene – the idea that humans are the driving force behind recent geological changes – more accessible to the broader public in recent years the Mississippi region is being examined as an anthropocene landscape during the Year of German-American Friendship in the USA.
HKW director Bernd Scherer talks with the interdisciplinary artist Sarah Kanouse and the cultural critic and artist Brian Holmes about the urgency of the matter and the project on the Mississippi.
