The German American Cultural Foundation’s Oktoberfest Run is a popular and fun event for the whole family. Every runner is participating in a raffle for a pair of running shoes, and the company which signs up the most employees wins a special award. After the race runners and participants dress up in Trachten, the traditional German garb.
Donations to the run go into educational activities and organizations instrumental in teaching German language and promoting German culture.
