Goethe Pop Up Seattle presents a special screening of the Austrian expressionist film The City without Jews (1924), directed by H.K. Breslauer, with a commissioned score by German composer Günter A. Buchwald. The movie is shown at The Paramount Theater and is introduced by Nikolaus Wostry, Deputy Director of the Austrian Film Archive. A discussion on The Paramount stage, with representatives from local Jewish and social justice organizations, follows the film.
