On First Friday, Goethe Pop Up Kansas City kicks off the opening of its Pop Up Library – a space for reading, studying, and discussion. Escape the Midwest winter and come inside to look through the reading selection while warming up with a drink from the artisan tea bar. On the shelves you can find many books from German authors available in English and German as well as up-to-date periodicals from Germany. Find an armchair and crack open a book or borrow any of the reading materials to take home for up to four weeks free of charge. Violinists Stanley Kuo and Yi-Miao Huang perform duets from Mozart and Telemann throughout the evening.
