The Nazi regime forbade the Jewish artist Fritz Ascher to paint, so he resorted to pen and paper – the Gray Art Gallery in cooperation with the Fritz Ascher Society shows pictures and poems by the expressionist persecuted by the National Socialists (1893-1970).
As part of the program flanking the exhibition, Carol Millsom from the Institute for Retired Professionals at the New School brings a group into the exhibition.
