German Consul General David Gill and former Federal Commissioner for the Stasi Records in Germany, Marianne Birthler, discuss with students the importance of the 1989 Peaceful Revolution and how it made tearing down the Berlin Wall possible. The discussion also touches upon the end of Communism in Europe, the fall of the Iron Curtain, and the challenges which remain today.
